Meaning of the terms ‘In stock’, ‘On order’ and ‘Out of stock’ on a product
On each product listed in our catalogue is displayed a tag with one of these 3 terms: ‘In stock’, ‘On order’ or ‘Out of stock’.
Here are the details of their meanings.
In stock
The product is physically available in our warehouse and can be dispatched quickly.
On order
A product displayed as ‘On order’ means that it is not physically in stock in our warehouse and that we will have to order it from the supplier if you buy it. It is therefore temporarily out of stock. The usual replenishment time is about 12 to 21 days, depending on our supplier. To this must be added the delivery time for your parcel, which can vary from 1 to 7 days depending on the destination.
When you order such a product, you will be notified by email of every stage in your order: from the order to the supplier to dispatch.
On order and "Unknown replenishment time"
A product marked ‘On order’ may also be marked ‘Unknown replenishment time’. In this case, it means that we were unable to obtain stock from the supplier during our previous attempt. The time it takes to receive this product at our warehouse will therefore be extended and we do not know exactly when we will receive it. You can still order this product, but we cannot guarantee a shipping date.
Out of stock
A product displayed as ‘Out of stock’ means that we no longer have it in stock in our warehouse and that restocking from the supplier is uncertain. **It is therefore not possible to purchase a product displayed as ‘Out of stock’.
